For two unlikely beings to come together, first, create the universe. After a while, galaxies form, stars are born and die, heavy elements are created in supernovae which become planets, which are bombarded with icy comets, and, if the planets are the right distance from their star, liquid water becomes plentiful on the surface, where life forms, and after a few million years of life, and a few hundred-thousand years of human development, two people meet. "Wormhole" is about the cosmic forces that must align for two beings to love.
